Certificate in Business Process Management – Mapping and Improvement (BPMI)

Course Overview

Business Process Management and Improvement (BPMI) Training - Leap To Success

In his book “Reengineering the Corporation: A Manifesto for Business Revolution”, Michael Hammer & James Champy states that “Reengineering is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical contemporary measures of performance such as cost, quality, service and speed”.

Goal of Course:

This training course focuses on increasing the participants’ managerial competencies to apply BPR strategies, methods and tools to implement a reengineering project.

Going through an applied training course, during which the attendees will practice mapping processes and drawing workflow charts each on a personal computer, they will also gain the ability to create an environment where there is enthusiasm to create a successful ‘long-term’ customer-centred culture.

Throughout the program, participants will learn to define processes, measure them and set KPI’s in the light of company KPO’s. In addition, they will learn the essentials of business process improvement: During the last day, they will work on their respective work processes using the renowned DMAIC methodology. This methodology is detailed as follows:

  • DEFINE phase: Starting the Project, Process Basics, Understanding the Voice of the Customer
  • MEASURE phase: Data Collection, Voice of Data
  • ANALYZE phase: Identify Causes (Exercise 8)
  • IMPROVE Phase: Implement Solutions & Evaluate Results
  • CONTROL Phase: Standardize & Make Future Plans

Duration:

2 Days

Language:

English / Arabic
