The Governance and Risk Compliance course aims to provide you with an understanding of corporate governance and the integral role effective governance has on both a corporation’s strategic risk management and its long-term financial performance.
Goal of Course:
The focus of governments, regulators and security exchanges has been to improve the regulatory, compliance and risk management processes that underpin how a corporation conducts its business.
Whether a corporation is publicly-listed, privately owned, global or state-owned, how it conducts its business in the short and long term will have a direct impact on its stakeholders – these include owners, management, shareholders, employees, financial institutions, suppliers, customers, governments and the community. Therefore a robust and accountable corporate governance framework must be in place to protect and balance the interests of its many stakeholders and this training can help you with in-depth understanding!
